The Names of God Part 16 - Jehovah-Kavod
by Gail Rodgers The LORD of Glory. Oh LORD God Almighty, who is like you? “Oh LORD God Almighty, who is like you? You are mighty, O LORD, and your faithfulness surrounds you” (Psalm 89:7).
Oh Father in Heaven, Today I stand amazed in Your presence. The God of Glory, the Great God, the God of gods and Lord of lords; You are glorious! You are above all things! From You and through You and to You are all things! Your kingdom and power and glory will last forever. What an amazing picture Lord! What assurance it gives my soul to know that the glory of all You are can impact my day today. Thank you that You are willing to bring Your power and glory into my life today. I abandon my heart and mind to You. I willingly bring myself under the power of Your holiness and Your love. Like an umbrella over me Your majesty rests over my life. Thank you that You are wonderful in counsel, magnificent in wisdom and perfect in knowledge. I trust Your infinite understanding and Your excellent greatness and I thank you for Your divine power that is at work in my life today. May Your kingdom be established in all I do today and may I live for Your kingdom and for Your glory as I walk the path today where You have placed me. Thank you that You are majestic in power and infinite in understanding and You alone can equip me for the tasks that lay before me. To You be praise and honor and glory. In the strong name of Jesus I pray, amen.
